BETH LISICK has been an integral and high profile member of San Francisco's arts community far the past ten years. A weekly columnist for the SF Gate (San Francisco Chronicle's website), a contributor to public radio's This American Life, a spoken word performer, a sketch comedian, a musician, an independent film actor, and the curator of a successful storytelling series.

Ms. Lisick will share tips on how to write comedic material. She is the author Everybody into the Pool, a memoir featuring a collection of humorous and ridiculous tales deemed "whip-smart" by critics and hailed in several roundup lists for 2005, including reaching the New York Times extended bestseller list and the Entertainment Weekly list of Top 10 nonfiction books for that year.
