well it shows their not disgustingly popular because they’ve sold out and made records simply to sell them. Im not saying that other headliners have, but im saying that compared to pendulum their reasonably under the radar. Which is undoubtedly a good thing. I was there at arcade fire, there were, quite frankly, not many people their, but the atmosphere was incredible and when they played Wake Up for example, people were crying and singing and dancing and thats all that matters

Fair enough, I wasn’t even at Reading Festival and I much prefer Enter Shikari.
Nahh i dont think awards really represent what’s good and what isnt, i was just saying that clearly many people agree with the fact that Arcade Fire are good. They’re performance at reading was stunning, and i personally think that Enter Shikari would have been 100 times better than pendulum.
Awards don’t mean shit. Although I vaguely agree with some of your Pendulum points, I haven’t missed out on anything. What is new and ‘incredible’ about Arcade Fire? What do they do that hasn’t been done before?
well its clearly a subjective opinion, though the sane few in the music industry clearly disagree with you, hence their 9 awards this year. Pendulum are fake drum and bass. there’s nothing too them except a backing track you might as well go to a club. plus missed out on some real music with arcade fire. who are genuinely musical and incredible
