freelance writer, Beverly Lauderdale. Born in Nebraska, Beverly
grew up in Iowa and received a B.A. from Simpson College, and an M.A.
in
English literature from Holy Names College. A former junior high school
teacher, she is currently a part-time instructor at Holy Names College
and teaches a popular adult education class, "Craft of Writing," for
the
Mt. Diablo School District.
As a freelancer, she's written the
novel, The Long Wind and hundreds of articles and short
stories.
