Workshop
At the October 8 meeting of the California Writers Club—Mt. Diablo Branch, Margaret Lucke will give a special morning workshop on the short story beginning at 9am. Participation in the workshop will be limited to the first 25 who sign up. The workshop cost will be $25 for CWC members and $30 for non-members. Luncheon
Margaret Lucke is the author of A Relative Stranger (an Anthony Award nominee for Best First Mystery Novel) and the writing how-to books Schaum’s Quick Guide to Writing Great Short Stories and Writing Mysteries. Her other credits include scripts for mystery weekends, short stories, feature articles and book reviews. She teaches fiction writing classes for UC-Berkeley Extension and is an editorial consultant for businesses and individuals. She is also a former president of the NorCal chapter of Mystery Writers of America.
